Illuminating Hope Fireworks Show

Supporting Our Youth Feeding Programs
Benefitting the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank

Since 2015, it has been our honor to host and sponsor the Annual Fireworks Show over Lake Sammamish. The event is a celebration of our annual fundraising efforts that benefit the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank. With 100% of all donations going directly to the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank, to date, we have raised over $370,000 since 2015 to support childhood nutrition in our community.

More than 1,800 children in the Issaquah School District who receive free or reduced-price school lunches don’t have access to these resources when school is out. The Summer Lunch, Lunch for the Break, and Power Packs programs play a vital role in ensuring children have easy access to healthy food at all times.

In these times of rising costs and reduced food stamp benefits, we need your help more than ever.A $150 gift provides 21 children with healthy breakfast, lunch and snack foods for the weekend when school lunches aren't available.

FIREWORKS SHOW DETAILS

The fireworks will be launched from a barge off the western shore of Lake Sammamish about halfway between Vasa Park and Lake Sammamish State Park. Any spot along the southern part of the lake should be a great viewing point!

Windermere Cup

A Celebration of Community and Sport

In 1987, Windermere Real Estate founder John Jacobi had the idea to make the rowing event that was part of opening day of boating season even grander. Jacobi joined forces with the University of Washington to bring the best competition in the world to come compete in the annual rowing event. At the time, this was the team from the Soviet Union. Even thought the Soviet Union defeated the Huskies, the post-race show of sportsmanship remains a signature moment in the event's history. This annual event has become one of the world's premier rowing events.

Come join us for our annual Recycling & Shredding Event in the Windermere Bellevue South parking lot. The event begins at 10:00 am and goes until 2:00 pm. Bring your confidential documents to old printers to be discarded appropriately!

MS I’mpossible Pickle Palooza - Sunday, May 19th from 8 AM - 8 PM
KLD is excited to be a court sponsor at MS I'mpossible’s first annual Pickle Palooza for MS, a pickleball tournament to raise funds and awareness for young adults living with MS.
